Welcome!
My name is Belén Martínez and my journey with yoga began many years ago as a way to stay fit, stretch, and feel good in my body. I loved how it helped me build strength and flexibility, and over time, it became a regular part of my life. but it wasn’t until I became a mother that yoga — and especially meditation — took on a whole new meaning.
Motherhood was a beautiful, life-changing experience, but it also turned my world upside down. Everything around me had shifted, and yet there was so little conversation about the deep inner changes that come with this transition. Balancing the demands of a corporate career and caring for a new life left me stretched thin. I often felt I was falling short in some many areas, with little space for rest or support.
That’s when I found meditation. It became more than just a practice. In the quiet, I found the space to pause, breathe, and listen. Meditation gave me a way to come back to myself, to find balance amidst the chaos, and to begin rebuilding a connection with who I truly was beyond the roles I had taken on.
From there, my yoga practice evolved. It became less about movement, and more about healing, presence, and self-discovery. I began to explore breathwork, stillness, and sound therapy; tools that helped me release tension, reclaim energy, and cultivate a gentler relationship with myself. The practices became more than routines. They became rituals of remembrance; ways to feel grounded, whole, and well again.
Today, I’m a certified Yoga Alliance teacher and a Yoga Nidra facilitator through the I AM method. I offer private yoga, meditation, and sound therapy sessions to support you in reconnecting with yourself, restoring balance, and finding peace within.
You don’t need to be flexible or have experience. All you need is just to be open to begin, exactly as you are.
